As the name suggests, this gîte is part of the main farmhouse. It features exposed beams, tiled and/or wood floors throughout and has renovated and redecorated.

Entering via the glazed front door takes you directly into the large open plan, well equipped dining kitchen in which there is a dining table which seats six people.

At the centre of the gîte is the bathroom area with ‘power-shower’ and hand-basin. There is a separate toilet on the ground floor.

The two directly adjacent ground floor bedrooms both sleep two (in a back to back double/twin room plus a twin room with two single beds). The double has open and hanger based storage plus reading lamps and a fan; the twin has comparable open plan storage, reading lamps and a fan.

The very attractive, living room at the back (south) of the gîte, with its french oak floor, accommodates a library, sofa-bed and the TV/DVD. Leading directly from it, steps take you down to the lovely private south-facing terrace which is edged by rose bushes and gets the sun all day and in the early evening.

The third bedroom (a large double) is immediately above the living room and is accessed via the exterior stone steps. It enjoys a south-facing outlook over the garden and also features open and hanger based storage, bedside cabinets and lamps. It has an en-suite bathroom with hand-basin, WC and large shower.

Please note: all gîtes are non-smoking and, unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate pets.

We had such a great time at your site – the garden was perfect for our toddler to explore safely, the pool was ideal, and we really enjoyed the rural location and running the local trails. It was a perfect first foreign family holiday. All the best. Jonathan (2019).

We had a wonderful week staying at Le Village du Bois in July 2019. The gites are in an idyllic spot, in the middle of the countryside but close to Talmont St-Hilaire with its castle and restaurants and a short drive from Le Plage Veillon – a gorgeous beach with surfing and a pretty coastal walk.  The gite was very clean with modern appliances and the old charm of the building had been kept.  We greatly appreciated the loan of bikes to tour the quiet surrounding paths, which are good for walks and cycling. I would highly recommend this property. A fantastic location – you feel as you are in the middle of nowhere, but it is close to amenities and the beach. Bourgenay a lovely place. Private outside space great, with sun and shade all day, depending on your preference. Bicycles available free on-site was a real bonus. Cycling to the beach for an early evening swim really special. Comme son nom l’indique, ce gîte est rattaché à la ferme principale. Il peut accueillir 6 à 8 personnes.

Avec ses poutres apparentes, sol carrelage et / ou plancher en bois, ce gîte a été récemment rénové entièrement et redécoré.

Une porte d’entrée vitrée ouvre directement sur un plan ouvert cuisine / salon. Lumineuse, neuve et bien équipée la cuisine dispose de tout l’équipement nécessaire, ainsi que d’une table à manger pouvant assoir six personnes.

Au centre du gîte se trouve la salle de bains avec douche puissante , lavabo et WC séparé.

A côté, se trouve la chambre principale de la famille qui peut accueillir quatre personnes ( lit double et deux lits simples). Elle dispose d’un espace rangement, (ouvert, et avec cintres), tables de chevet, lampes de lecture et ventilateur.

A l’arrière (sud) du gîte, le salon très attrayant dispose d’une bibliothèque, d’un canapé-lit et d’une sortie donnant sur une belle terrasse privée faisant face au sud et étant donc ensoleillée matin et soir.

L’Annexe partage avec les autres gîtes une piscine commune chauffée enfermée pour des raisons de sécurité, aires de jeux et parcs de loisirs.

Boendeinformation

Som namnet antyder är denna gîte, som rymmer mellan 4-6 personer, ansluten till det ursprungliga boningshuset på bondgården. Den har frilagda bjälkar, kakelgolv och trägolv, och har nyligen renoverats och helt restaurerats.

Ingång sker via den inglasade dörren som tar dig direkt in i ett ljust allrum i öppen planlösning med helt nytt och väl utrustat kök/matsal med alla nödvändiga apparater samt ett matbord med plats för sex personer.

I mitten av denna gîte ligger badrummet med duschkabin, handfat och separat toalett.

Det mycket attraktiva vardagsrummet på baksidan (söderläget) av denna gîte har ett bibliotek, en bäddsoffa, och trappsteg som leder ned till den vackra privata terassen i söderläge som får sol hela dagen och kvällen.
L’Annexe delar poolen (som är säkerhetsinhägnad) och tillhörande lek- och parkområden med andra gîtes.

Det intilliggande familjesovrummet har sängplats för fyra personer (en dubbelsäng och två enkelsängar). Den har öppna förvaringshyllor för kläder inkl galgräcke, samt sängbord, läslampor och en fläkt.

Omschrijving

Zoals de naam doet vermoeden is dit gîte onderdeel van het boerenhuis zelf en is geschikt voor 4 tot 6 personen. Binnen vindt u oude balken, houten en tegelvloeren en het hele gîte is in 2015 van boven tot onder gerenoveerd.

U komt via de glazen voordeur binnen in de open eetkeuken. De gloednieuwe keuken is van alle apparatuur voorzien en heeft een eettafel voor zes personen.

Het gîte heeft een badkamer met een ‘power shower’, wastafel en apart toilet. De ernaast gelegen grote slaapkamer is zeer geschikt voor gezinnen: het heeft een tweepersoons en twee eenpersoonsbedden. Het heeft hang- en legkasten, nachtkastjes, leeslampen en een ventilator.

De sfeervolle woonkamer aan de achterkant van de gîte ligt op het zuiden en heeft een bibliotheek, slaapbank en geeft via een een aantal treden toegang tot het heerlijke terras waar u de hele dag van de zon kunt genieten.

L’Annexe deelt het grote zwembad van 10 x 5 meter met de andere gîtes. Het zwembad is omringd door een veiligheidshek.

Roken is niet toegestaan. Helaas accepteren we geen huisdieren.
